Tuesday Ruminations.

Haven't posted these in a while. . .

I feel badly if I am excluded from an activity even if I have no intention of going and don't like those who are.

I still don't get why it's "$10" instead of "10$".

I don't write on your facebook wall so you can comment on it. I write on your wall so you will write back on mine and make me seem more popular. Work with me here.

It annoys me when people don't remove the plastic screen protector off their new phone, especially when the corners are starting to come off and have tiny hairs stuck to them.

Whenever I'm first to arrive at a restaurant amongst my group, I always try to make it blantantly obvious that I do, in fact, have friends.

Facebook is a lot like a fridge. When you're bored you keep opening and closing it every couple of minutes to see if there's anything good, but nothing ever changes.

Some Ruminations for Your Wednesday

Here ya go.

It's the weirdest feeling when you realize your friends have other friends besides yourself.

Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you're going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the direction from which you came, you have to first do something like check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you're crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk.

I hate when I plan out a conversation with someone in my head and they don't follow the script.

I ask Google all the questions I'm too embarrassed to ask other people.

Sometimes I pretend not to remember details about people because having a good memory apparently equates to creepiness.

Why does it feel so dirty to use someone else's soap?

Every time I hear a recording of my own voice, I'm convinced that I would not be friends with me if I were someone else.

There really isn't a non-creepy way to tell someone that you've had a dream about them.

Do old people think other old people are hot?

We've mentioned Ruminations before, and I thought it was time again to share a few.

I don't know why, but I always feel awkward whenever I see adults riding in the back seats of cars.

I hate when I think of something really great to say during a conversation but by the time I get a chance to speak, we're on a different topic. Do I let it pass and keep the good thought to myself, or do I awkwardly bring up the old topic again?

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can’t wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that’s not only better, but also more directly involves me.

Do old people think other old people are hot?

How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear what they said?

Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from,I get so incredibly nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from, this shouldn't be a problem...

One of the weirdest feelings is riding in your own passenger seat.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

I have an irrational fear of wasting a good outfit on an insignificant day. (Welcome to C&R's life.)
